Kista Tucker

Kista Tucker (M.A., M.F.A., C.M.A., R.S.M.T.) has performed and presented her work throughout the U.S., Europe, Japan, Mexico, and Canada. Her wide range of performance experience includes a major role in Kurt Joost’s The Green Table and her own Fractured. Tucker received a large financial award toward creating and touring a choreographic project based on DC’s Korean War Veterans Memorial. Tucker was formerly associated with the LIMS Management Committee and was elected to two terms on the CORD Board of Directors. She has taught at George Washington University, The Ohio State University, Sam Houston State University, The University of South Florida, and SUNY College at Brockport. She has presented her work at LIMS, IADMS, ISMETA, CORD, ACDFA, NDEO, and more. Tucker conducts workshops, acts as a Guest Artist for universities and other institutions, is working on publishing her KT Warm-Up project, and a fiction novel. She has received numerous awards and commissions.
