Sarah Bayne a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduated from Penn State University in May of 2003 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and from Walden University in 2006 with a Masters in Reading and Literacy. While at Penn State she performed as a member of Orchesis Dance Company and Dancescape Theater. As a member and president of Orchesis, Sarah had the opportunity to choreograph and perform in many student showcases including the American College Dance Festivals and the PSU 48 hour Dance Marathon. After graduation she came to Virginia where she began taking classes at the Russell School of Ballet, and proceeded to join the staff in January of 2004. Sarah has choreographed numerous dance numbers for the Fairfax Ballet Jazz, Tap and Modern Dance Revues, as well as assisted with the Spring Ballet performances. Outside of the studio, she has coached the Fairfax High School Dance Team, adjudicated several venues for the Fairfax Academy dance program, worked as an Educator at Lululemon Athletica, and danced with locally based Entertainment Agencies. When not dancing Sarah is a Reading Specialist in Prince William County, adjunct professor for George Mason University, and works as the Talent Coordinator for Skydancer Entertainment.
